Another amazing wedding with wonderful late summer weather!

We started the day near Axminster at Chapel Cottage where Katie was getting ready. Everything seemed remarkably calm whilst the finishing touches to Katie’s makeup was being perfected by Ella Butler (Make Up By Ella). Katie looked stunning in her Jenny Packham designer dress, matching accessories and Jimmy Choo’s.

The ceremony was held at St Winifred’s Church, Branscombe which is in such a pretty location. The church was packed to the rafters with family and friends. Antony appeared to be surprisingly relaxed with a big grin across his face, no doubt thinking about his marriage to Katie.

After the ceremony the guests headed on to the Reception at Weycroft Hall Axminster, whilst we went down to Branscombe beach for a few photographs. Afterwards we went on to the 16th Century Weycroft Hall and the impressive marquee erected in the grounds. Catering was provided by one of my favourite caterers Antonias Kitchen and boy did they have a magnificent feast!

Back to Torquay for me this weekend for the wedding of Jessica & Paul. The wedding was a civil ceremony at Oldway Mansion. It has been many years since I was last there, but I was delighted that you are now allowed to photograph the ceremony, the superintendent positively encouraged photography – such a refreshing change!

Jessica looked fabulous in her Maggie Sotterro dress (Brides at Waterfields, Torquay) and was supported by her bridesmaids made up of her sisters and best friend. Many of the guests travelled up from London for the wedding, Paul used to live in Croydon. After the ceremony the guests headed off to the reception at The Headland Hotel while we went down to Meadfoot beach for a short photo session for a Torquay Wedding Photographer.

When we arrived back at the hotel we were treated to a superb wedding breakfast (thanks) followed by the speeches. As the sun was setting guests were entertained by a magician performing many fascinating card tricks that had the guests spellbound, especially the children.

I know that Jessica & Paul are extremely grateful to Sheila, Jessica’s mum provide a massive amount of help and support in planning the wedding. I also understand that Sheila was somewhat relieved that Paul finally proposed – it only took him 6 years! (Good thing come to those who wait ;-))

Anyway, Jessica & Paul are now on their honeymoon in Hong Kong and Bali. Hope you are having a great time!

Victoria & Stuart were married at St James The Great church on a glorious September day! Both Victoria and Stuart seemed  very relaxed before the ceremony which was looked upon by loved ones, family & friends. Stuart was very pleased with the shiny pocket watch that Victoria had bought for him as a wedding gift – not sure what he got her, but I’m guessing it was shiny and expensive too ;-)

After the ceremony we headed off to Lakeview Manor wedding photography at Dunkeswell, Honiton for the reception. This was a refreshing change for me because the last 2 or 3 times I’ve been to this venue it has been raining, so to have sun was perfect. Everyone just chilled out and enjoyed the late summer afternoon drinking, chatting and catching up! The wedding breakfast was served in the marquee and was followed by some dancing.
