What a great day Pru and Martin had, filled with emotion and packed with laughter!
We started the day at Pru’s parents sea front home in Seaton, sadly it was pouring down with rain, not that anyone seemed particularly bothered by it. Pru’s looked fabulous in her Maggie Sottero gown looked as did her bridesmaids.
By the time we arrived at the church, things were looking up. A few breaks in the cloud revealed small amounts of blue sky, so it looked like we could be on for our beach shoot later. Martin was at the church greeting all of the guests and seemed quite calm although during some parts of the day he had a slight issue with ‘onions in his eye’s’
The ceremony was fabulous, I was even allowed to get some photographs from the front – yay! The actual part of the marriage was conducted by Martin’s grandfather who is now a retired vicar, it was very touching to be able to have witnessed this.
Anyway, the weather cleared for us to go to the beach and get some photographs (great for a Exmouth Wedding Photographer) although we were aware of the big dark clouds around us. Within a couple of minutes the rain came and we had to run and shelter in a nearby cave, much to the amusement of passing beach goers. Here are a few from the day…
