What an amazing day Lucy & Danny had – despite the weather and a vicar who wasn’t keen on wedding photography. The day started off with a forecast for rain, but when Lucy got into her wedding dress the sun came out and stayed out for most of the day, ok there were a few occasions where we had to dive for cover!
The wedding ceremony took place at St Leonard’s church in Exeter and was quite a long ceremony lasting just over an hour. There was quite a few hymns along with a worship band that really added to the overall atmosphere. After a few family photographs in the grounds we all headed off to the beautiful Canonteign Falls at Christow. We started off down at the lakes and falls, and between showers managed to get some lovely images.
The wedding breakfast took place up at Canonteign House and was possibly one of the best buffets I have ever seen at a wedding! Suckling Pig, Seafood Platter, Prime Beef and many delicious salads and accompaniments – I was also lucky enough to be seated with the guests and enjoy this feast!
